Since his first exhibition at the
Gulbenkian Gallery in Newcastle upon Tyne in 1971, Walter’s work has
been shown in many exhibitions throughout the
UK, including the Discerning
Eye exhibition at London’s Mall Galleries. |

His
paintings are in collections all over the world from the USA to Russia. Currently he is showing at
The Biscuit Factory and Colliers in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, at
Reubens Gallery in Leeds, the Blake Gallery
in York and
Off-the-Wall Gallery in Corbridge,
Northumberland. |

Walter’s work appeals to a wide range of collectors who
choose from idyllic country landscapes to busy city centre scenes and
fishing harbours. He has always enjoyed drawing ships and boats; last year
he completed commissions for the captain of HMS Invincible and for
shipbuilders Swan Hunter Ltd. |
